Reality changing voyage

An Israeli non-profit humanitarian organization operating in Israel and Africa. We believe that volunteering changes reality and leads to a better society. helpUp organization has initiated 76 missions to date with the participation of about 3000 volunteers. We have witnessed, through our experience, the immense impact volunteering has as a therapeutic tool for our volunteers, making a significant change in their world and others. "Our Brothers" An organization that has been established to give a place, voice, and platform for bereaved brothers and sisters and accompany them throughout the year. The events of 07/10 and the ongoing war in Israel have led us to start a new project for strengthening our Israeli society through doing good for ourselves and giving to others: A unique mission to Africa in which the participants will be bereaved brothers and sisters of the "Iron Swords" war. In past missions, in which we have combined mental health and PTSD patients, we have learned that they have experienced a therapeutic breakthrough, have begun believing in themselves again, and feel they have the ability to cope yet again with life events. The mission's program will include providing tools to build resilience and emotional processing guided by a professional team from Israel and India: • Phototherapy and Nerativ writing - Dr. Rebecca Hilel-Levian. • Meditation, Yoga & Yoga breathing - International Yoga School in Rishikesh, India. • A care team of psychologists and social workers specializing in trauma and rehabilitation. Our vision for this journey is to combine volunteering with content that will enable a deep process of inner observation and personal growth. We believe that volunteering with local communities in Africa, alongside this unique program and distance from familiar surroundings, will be a strong milestone in the personal process and will contribute to building personal sturdiness and hope for a better future for them. Your participation and donation to fulfilling our mission will be highly appreciated. Each such mission with 20 participants & a professional team costs 200,000 ILS. Your donation will allow our members to cope, in the best possible way, with the loss of their beloved brother or sister in a process of restoration and empowerment by choosing to focus on the forces of life. A journey that starts in Israel continues in Africa and actually never ends.
