"Ma'ha'ver" Groups

The Ma'ha'ver groups will attend the needs of Ethiopian LGBTQ+ youth (-18) and young adults (18-30) in Israel. The groups will focus on the life experience of being both Ethiopian and LGBTQ+, and create the space for socializing and community building. As we know who this deep sense of belonging to a group and a community could make the difference in one’s ability to not only face the hurdles of society, but strive - we know that these groups are crucial for us to make sure that no one is left behind and that every LGBTQ+ feels that they have a valid and equal place in our larger community, and the Israeli society.  "Ma'ha'ver" (ማህበር) means association or group on Amharic
