IGY- Israeli LGBTQ+ Youth

IGY, the Israeli LGBTQ+ youth and young adults’ organization, is committed to creating a positive future for LGBTQ+ youth and young adults in Israel by combating discrimination and fostering supportive, empowering, and safe spaces. Reaching 45,000 youth, teachers, parents and students IGY serves as an anchor and source of support for queer youth and young adults, working to reduce loneliness and increase their sense of self-worth and belonging. Today IGY operates more than 100 social groups all around Israel, unique spaces for Arab, Orthodox and Haredi LGBTQ’s, delivers 1600 workshops a year in schools and operates the first ever LGBTQ+ vocational college for young adults at risk.
