Running with Ruth and Ramon - Jerusalem Marathon 2024

Running for House of Wheels Summer Camps!! Running with Ruth and Ramon in Jerusalem Marathon 2024. Hi everyone. Nice to meet you. My name is Ruth Birenbaum and I am a 13 year old teen with lots of good energies that even my Cerebral Palsy and my Epilepsy won't stop me from swimming, riding my Bike and practicing my walking. I really love to run long distances with my dad Ramon. Towards the coming Jerusalem Marathon, my dad me and many of our friends will run and wheel to raise funds for the House of Wheels Summer Camps. This year especially, due to the war, we need your support even more. In the 2023 Marathon, a special friend of ours joined us in the run, Shilo (Chiko) Cohen, may he rest in peace. He was a commander of a Shaldag team that joined us in the run so we can raise more funds to continue our important work with our children. Shilo was killed in the October 7th war, while defending one of the Kibbutzim. This year, we will dedicate the run to his beloved memory. We invite you to support this campaign and enable us to continue integrating our children with motoric disabilities into the mainstream society and ensure a better future for them.
