Financial Education for Every Student

How often do you check your bank statement? Do you understand your salary slip? Are you reviewing and updating your family budget and planning for the future? Here in Israel, we face many challenges, and managing financially is one of them. Most Israelis are in overdraft, even in the best of times, and this quickly spirals into unmanageable debt. Chaim BePlus teaches practical workshops in financial literacy to youth from weak populations all over Israel. Our mentors are dynamic college students who are role models for the pupils. We aim to prevent overdraft before it takes hold! In order to expand the impact of the project, Chaim BePlus is launching an innovative Whatsapp community for transmitting financial tips and success stories to young people. In addition, we have set up a call center for students to send their questions to the mentors at any time.
