Strumming the Strings of Tomorrow In Loving Memory of Amit, Elad, and Yonatan Egoz Unit Soldiers | Iron Swords 2023 Amit, Elad, and Yonatan – brave fighters of the Egoz Unit – fell in the fierce battles at the Kissufim outpost on October 7th, 2023. They fought heroically to save many lives, ultimately falling while shielding our home with their own bodies. Beyond being courageous warriors, all three were musicians at heart. Each found in music a place of peace, joy, and self-expression. For them, music was a second language—a bridge to themselves and the world around them. We are now working to establish a unique music room in their memory—a space for creation and growth dedicated to at-risk youth at AMIT Petach Tikva Youth Village. This room will allow young people to discover the same spark that connected them to music. When he held his drumsticks, the world seemed to stop. Elad Sasson Guitar | Jazz & Rock A talented self-taught guitarist. His eyes would light up whenever he picked up a guitar. Yonatan Savitsky Keys & Flute A gentle soul who carried a flute with him everywhere, even during his military service.
