A commemorative corner in memory of the late Eily Adany called "Mitzvah Eily"

Captain Ilay Adani, 23 years old, was a platoon commander in the Magellan commando unit. Eli grew up in Tel Mond, he lived a short but happy life, he was always a man of leadership and values, he dreamed of working in education in his life. Eli did his challenging duties in his unique and special way and is considered a beloved and respected commander who sees his soldiers as if they were his sons. Later he also went to an officers' course and returned to the unit to lead his own team of fighters "Adani Team".Two weeks before the end of their training, the war broke out, Eli and his team closed Shabbat at a base in the south and were among the first to jump for the defense of the state in kibbutzim surrounding Gaza. When they saw on their way the smoke of the explosions and the interceptions over the territory of Israel, Eli said: "We are doing this for them."Under heavy fire, Eli demonstrated leadership, that he penetrated the target and protected his soldiers with great courage and on the residents of the surrounding area. Eli fell on October 7, 2023 fighting and defending Kfar Gaza together with two of his soldiers - Amichai Vanino and Amit Guetta. Eli acted with his characteristic courage and leadership, giving his life for the State of Israel.We are mechinat shachar "David" Fourth cycle located in Kibbutz Tel Katzir in Kinneret, we decided to set up a commemorative corner in memory of Eli. Ilay's brother, Yanir Adani, was a student here in the mechina in the second cycle. To implement this project we need your support.
