Music House in memory of Naama

This melody cannot be stopped
We invite you to join us in establishing A house for music and culture named after Naama Katz z”l.
A place that will connect people and melodies,
where Naama’s heritage will live on, and her music will continue.
Your support means a lot to us.
Two years ago, our beloved Naama passed away from a serious illness, and left behind a loving family, and a huge empty space among her many friends and within the community.
A space of doing good, of thinking about every detail, of aesthetics and culture in all its shades.
When we thought about commemorating her memory, we imagined a beating and a thriving place.
A place that brings the variety of sounds that Naama added to us here in this world. A pleasant place, which will be used for meetings and connections between people through music, but not only.
Music was weaved throughout Naama's life, from a young age she played music in Mitzpe Netofa, where she grew up, and continued in doing so for many years. As an adult, in her position as director of the community center of Emek Hama’ayanot, she invested a lot in educational projects of music and art – Nesher (Music, singing, dancing), Mekorock and more... always through a holistic view - of the youth, the various communities in the valley and in the city of Beit She’an, and also in the deep connection with the Cleveland community.
Even in her last year at "Maoz" organization, she connected between people, ideas and melodies into a one harmonious tune.
We must keep playing
We, the family, friends, and the community - decided to commemorate Naama's spirit in the most vivid way possible, to continue the music of our Naama's life. We will remember her as a loving person, that invested many hours of her life in community and culture, by establishing Neimot - a music center in Ma'ale Gilboa.
The center will be built in place of the old kibbutz community laundry facility, which stopped operating in the kibbutz. Thanks to the money we will raise in this project -- we will renovate the old building and turn it into an aesthetic and inviting space, well equipped for the activities within it, a center that will connect children and adults who play music, and will allow for creation, meetings and community discourse.
We invite you to be a part of this creation and melody, In the blessed memory of Naama.
Thank you!
