Ach Gadol for Lone Solders 2025
By Big Brother
No lone soldier is left behind – not in battle and not afterward. Together, we will reach another 1,000 soldiers.
Donors: 1107
354 days of Reserve Duty.
Two injuries – one in Gaza, one in Lebanon.
But the real wound? It began after the fighting ended.
I tried to return to normal – work, studies, life. But everything fell apart.
Alone. No family.
No shoulder to lean on.
When most soldiers come back from battle, they return to a family that supports them and helps them start over.
But lone soldiers don’t have close family standing by their side –
not during the war, and not when it ends.
That’s where Ach Gadol comes in –
the backbone of lone soldiers during the fighting, and after the battle is over.
We give them emotional support, personal guidance, and financial assistance,
so they can cope with the challenges of civilian life – and not be left alone.
Tragically, 43 lone soldiers—serving in both active duty and reserves—have lost their lives since October 7th.
What have we already done?
•
We led a bill in the knesset recognizing the status of “lone reservist”, granting thousands of fighters rights from the IDF.
•
Every lone soldier in the organization is paired with a “big brother” – someone to talk to, to share with, and to walk beside.
•
More than 500 soldiers received scholarships and financial support to help them return to their studies and work.
•
Over 300 soldiers received emotional guidance and professional support.
•
Dozens of flight tickets were purchased to reunite soldiers with their parents after long months of combat.
•
We hosted mindfulness days for female combat soldiers – with workshops, yoga, and ice baths.
But there are still 1,000 lone soldiers who need support.
they were there for us – now it’s our turn to be there for them.
Donate now, so that no lone soldier is ever left alone –
not in battle, and not after it ends.
All donations from the UK will be dedicated to integrating discharged soldiers into academic and career pathways.
The campaign is funded by the Tzli’er Foundation.
All donations from the US, UK, and Canada are used exclusively for civilian and humanitarian purposes and will not be used for any military activity
