We are pleased to announce the establishment of a new center at the Ghetto Fighters’ House: "RISE: Life Choices After the Holocaust." The center will include a new large-scale permanent exhibition, educational center, and digital archive and focus on the stories of survivors and their remarkable resurgence, revival, and reconstruction of lives.
The events of October 7 and their aftermath have revealed a renewed need for inspiration drawn from the strength and resilience of Holocaust survivors - those who endured the most tragic chapter in human history, yet managed to rebuild their lives and return to them with a message.
As a bridge between the legacy of the past and the urgent healing process in Israel following the events of October 7, RISE will offer tools to navigate crises on personal, communal, and national levels. At the same time, it will draw inspiration from the resilience of Holocaust survivors to strengthen Jewish identity and foster Jewish pride worldwide.
