      *As students at Tel Aviv University, the past two years have been unlike anything we’ve known... ❤️‍🩹* Between demanding studies and a reality of tense security, many of us found ourselves on the front lines - whether recruited to the army, volunteering, supporting evacuated children or helping affected communities. In the middle of all this action, we also felt the need to pause. To breathe. To remember that we, too, need space to recharge, reflect and reconnect with what keeps us going. That’s exactly where the idea for our student volunteer delegation to Africa came from - a collaboration between the Tel Aviv University Student Union and HelpUp. Around 25 students from diverse fields including education, psychology, medicine, engineering, law and more are heading to a community school in Jinja, Uganda for two weeks of meaningful work that aims to create real change. Each of us brings different skills, knowledge and experiences. Together we’ll paint, repair, build infrastructure and lead educational activities to improve learning conditions for hundreds of children and support the local staff in their daily work. This delegation is our chance to step away from the stress of daily life and be part of something meaningful-making a real impact, both in Uganda and within ourselves. In order to create real change - we need you! 🙌🏼 This delegation to Uganda is led by us, students who are giving our time, energy and skills to help build something meaningful in the local community. But there's more to the change we want to make than just us. Every donation goes directly toward making this project happen in Uganda: building materials and tools, educational supplies, games for the kids and running daily activities at the local school. This initiative grew out of our student community and we’re inviting you to be part of it.
