"Shuvu, Garin Manara – Bringing Back Life to the North"

Ends: 16:30

Donors: 45

Who are we? Kibbutz Manara, located on the border of Lebanon, was devastated by the war. Houses were destroyed, families evacuated, and the community is now facing a huge challenge of rehabilitation and building from scratch what once was. In response to this urgent need, Garin Manara was born. Garin “Shuvu” is a group of released combat soldiers from across Israel who chose to pause their personal lives to answer a national mission: rebuilding Kibbutz Manara, a frontline community located on the northern border with Lebanon. We moved to the kibbutz and began working from morning to night: restoring damaged homes, clearing debris, reviving public spaces, organizing activities for children, supporting elderly residents and families, and strengthening security as part of the local security response team. Our work is dedicated to the memory of our fallen brothers-in-arms who we lost during the war, ilay Grafinkel and Noam Barzilay, and continues their legacy through action, resilience, and hope. Why Do We Need You? We cannot do this alone. Your support helps us buy construction materials, tools, a work vehicle, and fund essential programs for all ages within the community. Every donation becomes a building block in restoring life to this border town — helping Manara rise again while reinforcing one of Israel’s most strategic and vulnerable points. Together, we can turn loss into light, despair into strength, and restore hope and life to Israel’s northern edge. You can also donate via the association’s bank account: Hasayeret Hatzfonit  Bank: Hapoalim (12)   Branch: 615   Account Number: 219040   For: Shuvu   IBAN: IL890126150000000219040   SWIFT Code: POALILIT   All donations are tax-deductible according to Section 46 of Hasayeret Hatzfonit.
