Community Support to Bedouin Arabs in the Jerusalem Periphery and Surrounding Areas
The Bedouin communities in the area where Friends of the Jahalin operates have lived in place for decades, relying on traditional herding as part of their cultural heritage. These unique communities are now under increasing threat from farms that have recently been established alongside them. In order to restore a sense of normalcy, there is an urgent need to stabilize the situation and support these communities.
To meet this pressing need, we have launched an emergency fundraising campaign.
Your donation will enable us to act where help is most urgently needed: we are working with security forces and moderate actors in the area to deescalate tensions and protect these often-invisible communities.
