The Jerusalem Intercultural Center (JICC) is dedicated to addressing issues of urban inequality in the City of Jerusalem by working at the individual, communal, and institutional levels. JICC's unique approach emphasizes building communal resilience, strengthening civil society actors and organizations, and building the capacity of municipal agencies to adopt cultural competency as a best practice model for providing essential services to the city’s diverse public.
JICC empowers city residents – Christian and Muslim Arabs, Ultra-Orthodox, Modern Orthodox and Secular Jews – to be active and effective in shaping their shared futures; and advances best practices of diversity, inclusion and equality in all major service agencies throughout the city.
