Volunteer Delegation to Uganda - helpUp

A humanitarian volunteer delegation under the HelpUp organization will be traveling to Uganda this upcoming Sukkot, to show the world that even in difficult and dark times, we know how to bring light to the world 💫🌟. Our mission is to create a positive impact on the education and health of children in underprivileged communities. The delegation is made up of 35 dedicated volunteers who work tirelessly to provide assistance to those in need. Our goals include: • Improving the quality of education by renovating village schools, supplying essential equipment, and working closely with the local pedagogical teams. • Enhancing local nutrition by encouraging residents to use available foods to address nutritional deficiencies (through student and parent workshops, practical cooking classes, and planting vegetable gardens). • Improving drinking water infrastructure. • Women’s empowerment. • Promoting sports. • Supporting the local community in various ways. All of this is aimed at upgrading the health and well-being of children. Your contribution to this delegation will help us pave the way for a meaningful change in the lives of children in need in Africa, while also promoting a culture of giving and volunteerism within the Israeli community.
