Eye Defence - Continuing to Prevent Blindness Among Combat Soldiers

Last year, we embarked on a special campaign together – fundraising to purchase protective glasses for combat soldiers. Thanks to you,we were able to purchase over 2,000 pairs of glasses! That protect the eyes of soldiers on the battlefield. But the donations were used up – and the requests never stop coming. Every day we receive new requests from soldiers, commanders or their parents, who ask for only one thing: to protect their eyes, so that they can continue to protect all of us. Now, as the new year begins, we are not giving up on our warriors and with a lot of faith in you - our community of donors, we are setting off again. This year too, the Lirot Association aims to provide every soldier that comes to us for help, with the protection they deserve – advanced protective glasses, which brightens in the dark and darkens in the light, so that they do not require removal even for a single second of lack of eye protection. Because in that second - the injury, the point of no return, can occur. This is our gift to the combat soldiers for Rosh Hashanah: protection and security for the eyes, which protect our country.
