✨ The BIRHAN Delegation is on its Way! ✨ This Hanukkah, we are heading to Ethiopia to remind the world – even in darkness, a new light can always be ignited 💫. BIRHAN (meaning “Light” in Amharic) is a humanitarian, volunteer-driven initiative by the HelpUp organization, dedicated to improving the lives of children in underprivileged communities and building a future filled with hope. 45 passionate volunteers are joining us on this life-changing journey, working hand-in-hand with local communities in the following areas: 🏫 Education – Renovating schools, providing essential supplies, and collaborating with local teachers. 🥦 Health & Nutrition – Educational workshops, hands-on cooking sessions, and planting vegetable gardens to fight malnutrition. 💧 Essential Infrastructure – Improving drinking water systems and access to clean water. 🤝 Community Development – Empowering women, promoting sports, and working closely with local residents. This Hanukkah, as we celebrate the miracle of the oil, we choose to create small miracles of light and hope – and we invite you to be part of this miracle.
