Support the mentors program "On Our Way"

The "On Our Way - Yotzim Laderech" program is designed to provide young men and women who lost one or both parents in the tragedy of October 7 with personal guidance, tools, and support to help them navigate the critical transition into adulthood. Our goal is to create a space where they can receive practical direction and support in making meaningful life decisions and assistance in building a stable life path - all through a meaningful mentoring relationship and a group process.  Each participant is personally accompanied by a mentor - a significant figure who helps them navigate their journey. The mentorship focuses on strengthening personal resilience, decision-making, and coping with the challenges of young adulthood. The mentor provides support, attentive listening, and guidance, and the relationship is built on trust and open dialogue, with the process tailored to the individual's personality and needs. Alongside the personal mentorship, each participant joins a peer group, which serves as a space for belonging, mutual support, and shared growth among others who have gone through similar experiences. In the group sessions, participants share and cope with common challenges under professional facilitation and guidance, and they take part in workshops and training sessions that help them gain practical tools. The group experience supports the participants’ personal development as part of the overall mentoring process.
