About the ProjectSAVE THE HILLS OF JERUSALEM Founded in 2020, Saving the Jerusalem Hills is Israel’s largest environmental movement, committed to protecting Jerusalem's natural beauty, promoting sustainable urbanization, and preserving the region’s ecological integrity. The Jerusalem Hills, a landscape of immense beauty and cultural significance, are under threat from development projects that will destroy over 100,000 acres of forest, springs, and wildlife habitats. The Threat The iconic Jerusalem Hills, renowned for their breathtaking beauty and cultural significance, are under threat from aggressive development projects that will destroy over 100,000 acres of pristine forest, natural springs, and wildlife habitats. Key developments include: ·       Lavan Ridge: A large housing project replacing forests and springs. ·       Hadassah Surroundings Project: 9,000 housing units in green spaces near Hadassah Ein Kerem. ·       Western Ring Road: Cutting through forests and fragile ecosystems. ·       Quarry Neighbourhood, Mevaseret Zion: Erasing vital green belts. If left unchecked, these projects will cause irreparable damage to the ecological and historical heritage of the region. The Opportunity for Investors Supporting Saving the Jerusalem Hills means investing in the preservation of one of the world’s most historically and ecologically important landscapes. Your investment will: ·       Safeguard Natural Heritage: Protect thousands of acres of forests, springs, and endangered species. Promote Sustainable Development: Support urban renewal over destructive expansion. • Influence Policy: Push for legal protections to preserve Jerusalem’s green belt for future generations. ·       This isn’t just an environmental cause—it’s a chance to contribute to a global model for sustainable urbanization. Why It Matters Investing in Saving the Jerusalem Hills secures a future where progress and preservation coexist. Together, we can prevent irreversible damage and promote a balance between human development and nature. This initiative offers unique potential for high-impact, purpose-driven investment—yielding benefits like increased property values, improved public health, eco-tourism, and a legacy of lasting preservation. Our Mode of Operation •Legal Action: Filing lawsuits against destructive construction projects. • Political Action: Engaging key national and local political figures to support our cause. • Field and Community Action: Mobilizing public support through events and activities in the Jerusalem Hills. Our flagship project is the renovation of Ein Handak Spring, transforming it into the center of our operations.
