Young Dancers In Support of The Jerusalem Hills Children's Home

The Jerusalem Hills Children's Home (formerly B’nai B’rith) is a residential home for children aged 6–15 who suffer from severe emotional distress as a result of early childhood trauma. Many of the children who come to us have experienced abuse or neglect and have faced unimaginable life circumstances from a very young age. At the home, we receive them with love and attention and are provide intensive, professional care based on our unique therapeutic model developed over 80 years. The children stay with us for 3-6 years, during which both they and their families receive treatment, with the goal of helping the child heal, build resilience, and return to a healthy, normative life in the community. Continuing a long-standing tradition, three professional dance organizations in Jerusalem, MixDance Studio, Studio 6 and the Jerusalem High School for the Arts are collaborating to support the cause. The dancers are creating a unique connection between creativity, dance, and giving.
