YBA Kiryat Herzog Bnei Brak

We Believe in Our Students We believe that a student should come to the yeshiva with joy and genuine desire. A warm and loving atmosphere allows students to love the place, appreciate the staff and friends, and thus grow and flourish. We believe that every student has unique potential and abilities. We strive to nurture these strengths and build inner confidence and a sense of purpose. Torah at a High Level "Eshkolot" Class – A very high-level Torah learning track for highly motivated students, led by Rabbi Shlomo Gelerenter, where students actively take part in the Beit Midrash and tackle deep Talmudic discussions. Half-Boarding Option – For 10th-grade students: the option to stay at the yeshiva during the week. In the warm and empowering environment, students enjoy social gatherings and activities that promote independence and maturity. Academic Leadership – Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science What? The yeshiva offers an excellence program that aspires to combine Torah and general studies at the highest level. Graduates of the program, who receive a full academic degree from the Jerusalem College of Technology (Machon Lev), are Torah-observant individuals who integrate into the army and leading positions in Israel's high-tech industry, while upholding the values of religious Zionism and Torah study. When? The program begins in 9th grade. In 11th–12th grade, students study one full day per week on the Lev campus in Jerusalem. In 13th grade, they continue their studies at the Lev campus, combining morning Beit Midrash learning with academic studies in the afternoon. With a Unique Melody of Its Own – Music Track What? The yeshiva strives to develop students who are attuned to the soul, to the power of melody, and to music as a tool for spiritual closeness to God. Students in the music track combine theoretical studies with performance ensembles and form a meaningful and influential part of the experiential atmosphere of the yeshiva. Where? The yeshiva has two music rooms: one equipped with a variety of instruments and modern, high-quality recording equipment, and another classroom equipped with top pedagogical tools. Performances and Competitions The music track wins many awards in the national religious education system's music competitions. They hold performances for parents, musical gatherings (Tishim), and more. The Center for Masculinity & Growth Adolescence is the right time to talk — openly, honestly, and with care. At this crucial stage, we believe in creating space for students to express what’s on their minds, and to explore both the visible and unspoken challenges of growing up. At our Center, we foster mature, respectful conversations around masculinity: What does it mean to be a man? What does healthy, values-based masculinity look like? How do we build real, respectful relationships? Our six-year modular program is led by top professionals and educators, and provides tools for emotional awareness, personal responsibility, and growth — all in a safe and supportive environment. Empowering young men to become confident, caring, and grounded individuals. A yeshiva builds a community – a community builds a yeshiva A sense of communal responsibility and the understanding that the yeshiva and its values are a source of strength for the community in which we live – and in return, the community gives back with love. Sukkot Initiative – Yeshiva students assist in building sukkahs for elderly residents who are unable to do so themselves. Yom Kippur – Students light memorial candles and pray at the graves of Bnei Brak residents who fell in the Yom Kippur War. Purim Fair – Yeshiva students organize a vibrant Purim fair with hundreds of participants and also bring joyful Purim fairs to nearby special education schools, bringing wide smiles to the children's faces. Shelach – Field, Nation, Society At the yeshiva, Shelach classes and field trips are held, connecting the students to a love of the land and familiarity with its wildlife and nature. Selected students take part in a young Shelach leaders' course, where they develop their leadership skills.
