Volunteer Humanitarian Delegation to Tanzania – March 2026 ✨ This coming March, a volunteer humanitarian delegation will depart for Tanzania, operating under the HelpApp organization, מתוך אמונה שגם במקומות שבהם המציאות מורכבת – אפשר ליצור שינוי אמיתי ומשמעותי (out of the belief that even in places where reality is complex, it is possible to create real and meaningful change). This is the “Timu le Ido” delegation, which means “Ido’s Force” in Swahili, and is dedicated to his memory. Major (Res.) Ido Yehoshua, of blessed memory, fell on October 7th in the battle to liberate the Gaza Division, while serving as a force commander in the Shaldag Unit. A fighter and commander, a man of mission, courage, and a wide heart. Ido is the son of Yehuda, who is joining us as a member of the delegation— a bereaved father walking alongside us, carrying his son’s memory in his heart and in his steps. 🧱 📚 Donations are designated for the purchase of construction materials and the renovation of a school, as well as essential educational equipment, with the goal of tangibly improving the learning environment and the quality of life of children in underprivileged communities. The delegation is composed of approximately 40 dedicated volunteers, acting מתוך שליחות ורצון להשפיע לטובה על חייהם של ילדים ומשפחות (out of a sense of mission and a desire to positively impact the lives of children and families). Our goal is to strengthen education, health, and welfare, and to improve children’s living conditions through direct, hands-on action in the field. During the delegation, we will operate on several key fronts: renovation and reinforcement of educational infrastructure, provision of essential learning materials, educational activities with children and pedagogical staff, promotion of health and proper nutrition, improvement of drinking water infrastructure, women’s empowerment, sports and community activities, and the development of agricultural initiatives such as vegetable gardens — all in cooperation with the local community and with deep respect for its needs.
