"Oranim" Hostel

By "Otot" - A door to a new life

Giving a home. Giving a future.

Donors: 20

"Oranim" hostel serves as a long-term home for 16 girls in severe risk and crisis situations – girls who had to leave their homes and need a safe, warm, and supportive space. Most of the girls who arrive at the hostel have experienced complex life circumstances involving multiple traumas, making it difficult for them to build their adult lives in a way that matches their age. Most have experienced various forms of abuse and neglect since childhood and have been exposed to numerous risk situations. The girls who come to us have often been removed from multiple frameworks, and this is their last opportunity to receive care and support within a home. These girls choose to build independent lives and are committed to advancing themselves. At the same time, the effects of the past are evident in their daily lives, and the hostel staff works to help them find a path toward development and growth. We offer the girls not only a roof over their heads, but also a trauma-informed female space, visibility, support in age-appropriate life tasks, therapy, a safe environment, community integration, educational gap completion, life skills training, and preparation for national or military service. The girls who come to us know a world where no one was there for them. Your support is their first proof that things can be different – that someone sees them, believes in them, and is willing to invest in their future. We invite you to donate and take part in this journey.
