"ABOUT uS- "It's a a Homeland Reborn The "Round the Bonfire" Initiative invites the community to join us in a traditional Israeli celebration of Lag Ba'Omer. An initiative which started in order to redefine the traditional bonfires of Israel's historical past, by gathering together members of Israel's founding generation and younger generations on Lag Ba'Omer. The purpose of the nitiative is to forge a connection between Israel's founding generation and its younger generations, and to increase awareness and knowledge of the stories of the early years of Israel's statehood. Each bonfire is expected to include 30 participants, who are just a group of friends, family, members or work colleagues, all gathering to hear inspiring stories of Israel's rebirth from first hand witnesses and participants in the country's challenging and remarkable early years.
