Shana Bet

Shana Bet is a six-month educational leadership program for young adults. The program seeks to deepen participants’ social and value-based identity and to prepare them for meaningful engagement and leadership within Israeli society. The program is built around three central components: study, communal living, and community engagement. As part of the learning component, participants explore core issues in Israeli society, including social justice, gender, democracy, Judaism, and more. Alongside their studies, participants take part in intensive communal living, which fosters personal growth, a sense of responsibility, and meaningful encounters among young people from diverse backgrounds. At the same time, they volunteer and engage in a variety of community and social frameworks, a commitment to active contribution and meaningful impact within their communities.
