Sagi Up - In Memory of Sagi Golan z"l

Sagi Golan z”l saw repairing the world as his life’s mission. His quiet, determined leadership shaped every chapter of his journey - from leading social initiatives as a teen in LEAD, to a year of service in Bat Yam, to serving as an outstanding officer in the IDF’s Counter-Terror Unit, and later working in high-tech to support patients in financial distress. Wherever he went, Sagi asked one question: how can I make things better? On October 7, Sagi fell heroically in the battle for Kibbutz Be’eri, shielding civilians with his own body. Sagi’s life was a testament to purpose in action. Even after his passing, he continues to shape Israeli society through the “Sagi Golan Law,” advancing historic equality. In his spirit, the Sagi Up Fund was established to empower young entrepreneurs who, like Sagi, choose to lead meaningful social change. Sagi Up is built on a simple belief: leadership exists everywhere - but opportunity does not. Through catalytic micro-grants for early-stage initiatives, the fund transforms bold social ideas into real-world impact, providing trust, backing, and tools to the next generation of diverse, values-driven Israeli leaders.
