Supporting The Equalizer - Sport for education, equality and social cohesion for Israel’s society

My name is Eili Yair, and I am becoming a Bar Mitzvah. I have had a love of soccer since before I could even walk. Being on a team and the relationships I've built there have been a vital part of my life. My teammates are so important to me, and that special dynamic has created a deep appreciation for what team sports can do for a whole community. I was so excited to learn about "The Equalizer" and its accomplishments in building community and creating bridges across various sectors of Israeli society. Being Israeli-American, it was important to me to use the opportunity of my Mitzvah project to connect with an Israeli organization and contribute directly to Israeli society. To me, becoming a Bar Mitzvah means taking on responsibility and giving back. That’s why I chose to support "The Equalizer," so that more kids in Israel can experience the same sense of belonging and empowerment that soccer has given me. I am looking forward to contributing and connecting with the organization in person when we visit Israel. I hope you’ll join me in supporting this important cause.
