Emergency Campaign for Beit HaGalgalim There are Israelis who, when a siren sounds, cannot reach a protected space in time. Not because they don’t want to. Because they physically cannot. Since October 7, for hundreds of children, youth, and adults with physical disabilities in the Beit HaGalgalim community, reality has become far more complex, dangerous, and isolating. For the past month, since the outbreak of the war with Iran, Beit HaGalgalim’s houses across the country have become living shelters—safe havens for those without accessible protection. But it is not enough. When leaving home is dangerous, we bring our supportive community to them. We arrive at their homes, create small gatherings, maintain relationships that go far beyond activity—we create family. Each day like these costs over 10,000 NIS. With no government funding.
