Reut Conference For nearly a decade, the association Shimru Nafsham has been dedicated to supporting soldiers and individuals facing challenges arising from their military service. The organization provides both individual and group support programs for combat soldiers, as well as for their immediate support circles. A message from Chairman Mr. Lior Levi: “Thousands of combat soldiers are falling through the cracks. Our mission is to ensure that none of them are left behind. The IDF itself has reported tens of thousands of new post-traumatic stress diagnoses since October 7.” Shimru Nafsham operates from a holistic perspective, recognizing that psychological injury affects not only the individual soldier, but also their wider environment—their partner, family, workplace, and community. Accordingly, the association works to reach, support, and strengthen these surrounding circles as an integral part of the recovery.
