Action. Community. Impact.

Investing in Young Adults | Strengthening Jerusalem | Shaping Israel’s Future Tene Yerushalmi is a pluralistic social organization founded in 2010, dedicated to strengthening the presence of young liberal communities in Jerusalem. We create community, educational, and cultural infrastructure through a wide range of programs spanning different stages of life, enabling young adults not only to come to the city, but to build their lives in it. The organization’s work is guided by the following core values: Community as a way of life | Education | Social engagement Over the years, our work has taught us that the challenges facing Jerusalem today are the challenges that will shape Israel’s future. Reality has shown us that Jerusalem is the place where solutions to Israel’s most complex social challenges are born. That is why we are here. The organization operates through a variety of age-specific programs: from pre-army youth and soldiers, to students, young professionals, and young families. Through these programs, we contribute to retaining young adults in Jerusalem and encouraging their integration into the social and public sectors. All of our programs focus on cultivating a liberal and pluralistic worldview, equipping participants with tools for community action, leadership, and social impact, strengthening their sense of belonging, and deepening their roots in the city. Our young people are not only staying in Jerusalem - they are building it. Across all of our programs, participants come from both central and peripheral regions of Israel. We are committed to reducing social gaps and promoting equal opportunities for young adults in Israeli society through mentorship, guidance, integration, and scholarship support. Why does this matter? Jerusalem stands at the heart of Israel’s social challenges - identity, partnership, community, and social resilience. Young adults who choose to live, lead, and create impact in Jerusalem influence far beyond the city’s borders. Investing in them is a direct investment in the social and democratic resilience of the State of Israel.
