Magellan Team ״s" - A Journey of Processing Combat Experiences

We are a team of fighters from the Magellan unit, November 16th batch, and have just returned from our seventh reserve tour. In the last three years, we have served almost 400 reserve days. 400 days in which we repeatedly left everything behind – work, studies, partners and family. Every time the flag called us, we left our routine and stood at the front. Behind these numbers lies intense fighting, relentless pressure and difficult moments that will accompany us for the rest of our lives. Our fighters gave their heart and soul on the battlefield, but the truth is that even when we physically return home – a large part of our heart remains behind, in Gaza and Lebanon. We realized that we cannot keep running without stopping. In order to save ourselves, our relationships and our future, we must process what we have been through. We decided to embark on a team processing journey together. The journey will take place with the accompaniment of professionals who are experts in trauma and post-trauma. Together, within the group that knows every second and every noise from the battle, we will go through a deep emotional process, we will receive tools to deal with stress, burnout and memories, with one simple goal: to return to life and grow together as a team.
