Even Hapina Project

How did the "Even Hapina" Project start? We want to tell you about our beloved Adi Avner Alush, of blessed memory. Adi was a sensitive and kind-hearted young man who loved helping people quietly and with a smile, without making a big deal out of it. He connected with both young and old, treating everyone as friends and forming meaningful relationships. Adi was always searching for his unique path in the world and wanted to find the truth. On the last Simchat Torah holiday (October 7), due to the war, Adi returned to Israel from his big trip. He wanted to do something significant to contribute to the national effort. Since he could no longer fight due to an injury he sustained during his service as a paratrooper, he volunteered in various places until he found his unique way and started the "Even Hapina" Project. He immediately began building memorial Projects with the families and friends of the fallen. Despite his young age, Adi managed memorial projects involving wood, Metal and Stone,But more importantly, focusing on connecting with the families of the fallen. He believed in the process of working with wood and building the memorial Projects together with the community. Adi insisted that in every project, the family would tell the volunteers about the fallen Family member. He believed that meaningful work should come from a connection to the fallen and their story, as well as the family's story. Sadly, during another trip he took in the summer, Adi died in a road accident in Sri Lanka. Adi died as a young man of 23.5 years old, but he was able to touch many hearts and bring light to many people in dark times. Since Adi past away, we built over 50 new memorial projects all over the country, we were blessed to get to know the soldiers, their story and of course their lovely families. Today, our mission is to be worthy and continue seeking to do good, we are trying to bring light to the families who have lost their most precious loved ones.
