This is the daily reality of the people who reach out to us. We are there — for every call, at every moment. And sometimes, it’s the difference between holding on… and losing ground. In times of crisis, triggers intensify. Memories resurface. The sense of anxiety never really fades. When crisis erupts on a national level, past trauma is reawakened. In 2025 alone, our Center experienced : • A 36% increase in calls to our helpline • A 14% increase in online requests for support We supported over 18,500 individuals — through our hotline, anonymous chat, in-person sessions, support groups, and accompaniment through medical, legal, and rights-based processes. Demand is rising. Conversations are longer. Cases are more complex. Behind every number is a person who needs support. And we are there. 24/7. Unconditionally. But there is another reality. Since the start of the war, fundraising for ongoing social services — including those that existed long before — has become increasingly challenging. Government resources are being redirected to security and emergency needs, and philanthropic giving is shifting toward immediate war-related relief. The bottom line: Demand for our services is increasing while resources are shrinking. If this trend continues, we will be forced to further reduce availability and scale back services.
