Lido Beach supprts Nirim

Lido Beach community are jpining hands to support Nirim COVID-19, October 7th, the Swords of Iron War, the wars with Iran, and the situation in the north have brought Israeli youth into a deep crisis. 7,700 criminal cases were opened against minors in the past year alone. A 30% rise in anxiety, a 30% rise in dropout rates — and in their wake: violence, drugs, and boys and girls who feel they've lost their way. We are not watching these numbers from the sidelines. We are there — in the neighborhoods, in the schools, in the field — meeting them one by one. For 23 years, we have believed in one simple thing: every boy and every girl is capable of succeeding. They just need one adult who believes in them and won't give up on them. Every year we meet approximately 850 young people and give them a chance — sometimes the last one — to return to the heart of Israeli society. 85% of them finish with a matriculation certificate. 90% enlist in the army or national service. This is not a miracle. It is daily, stubborn work by people who refuse to give up. If you believe that every child deserves one person who believes in them — if you want to save one soul and thereby save an entire world — Nirim is the place for you.
