Maayan's Mitzvah Project

As I celebrate my Bat Mitzvah, I wanted to make this milestone meaningful by giving back to children and families who have sacrificed so much for Israel. For my Mitzvah Project I have chosen to support the IDF Widows & Orphans Organization (IDFWO), which provides year-round care, emotional support, educational opportunities, and a caring community for the widows and orphans of Israel's fallen soldiers. I invite you to support this campaign now or in the fall when I will be hosting a tea party at Congregation Ner Tamid to share with you about all the programs the IDFWO carries out, and why I chose this organization as my mitzvah project. For anyone who gives before then, you will receive an invitation to the tea party as soon as the details are confirmed. It would be my honor to celebrate your contribution to the campaign. My goal is to raise $5,000 to help these families rebuild their lives with strength, hope, and dignity. Every donation, no matter the amount, makes a real difference.
