Choose Jerusalem

Jerusalem is currently filled with an energy of possibilities. With more than 150,000 residents who share liberal values, we are no longer isolated islands, but a sea of potential ready to connect. Instead of shouting about the problems, we choose to bring hope: to create spaces where we can get to know one another, create together, and influence the city we love. This is an opportunity to unite a social and political force that makes Jerusalem even more joyful, open, and impactful. We are here to connect the secular-liberal communities: to create neighborhood gatherings, promote partnerships between physical and cultural spaces, train leaders, and support the growth of community initiatives. Why are we raising funds? Our entire activity is based on full volunteerism, people who dedicate their time and energy to building a vibrant community in the city. The donations are not for personal salaries, but for the ability to turn ideas into consistent and sustainable action. The funds raised in this campaign will be directed to three main areas: 1. The Jerusalem Community Conference Producing a citywide conference that will bring together initiatives, communities, and individuals around the future of the liberal community in Jerusalem. The conference will address education, culture, housing, absorption, and community, and will serve as a starting point for joint work processes. 2. Projects that will develop following the conference Establishing and supporting initiatives born out of the conference Community working groups, neighborhood meetups, connections between communities, support for new families, and exploring models of residential communities and shared housing. 3. Ongoing operation of the communityMaintaining continuity of activity throughout the year: gatherings, community communication, building a volunteer network, connecting different initiatives, and coordinating between communities in the city. Your donation will fund extensive activity in the communities and in the city: meetups, workshops, neighborhood projects, and more. When the community comes together, ideas turn into reality. The outcomes you will see are clear: neighborhoods that feel more connected, young people who stay and invest in the city, a vibrant cultural scene, and social initiatives that also influence local politics. When communities connect and organize, they become a strong and stable voice that is heard in city life and in decision-making.
