A Fundraiser for Youth and Young Adults at Risk - "Otot"

The headlines are filling with cases of violence and hardship among youth and young adults. In Israel, around 400,000 children and youth are known to welfare services as being at risk, and each year some 12,000 of them are left homeless - without food, without safety, and without an adult to care for them. These young people are exposed to harm, exploitation, and a slide into crime. This is where Otot steps in. For 45 years, we have been opening a door for them - giving a home to youth and young adults in situations of risk and crisis, nationwide, to each and every one of them, unconditionally. Government funding covers the basics, but a home is so much more - a skilled and devoted team, professional care tailored to each need, and access to education are the cornerstones of recovery and the path to independence. Over the years, more than 20,000 graduates have left us for a new life, and each year we support over 1,500 more. Thank you for choosing to be here with us tonight.
