The Battle After

The battle may be over. The story is not. We are Miron Sibahi, 18, from Rishon LeZion, and Shir Dadon, 17, from Netanya. We are two young people who felt we could not remain indifferent to those who fought for all of us - and are forced to continue fighting long after they return home. That is why we created “The Battle After”- a documentary project that seeks to bring the stories of people living with post-traumatic stress in Israel to the forefront. Through a documentary series built around personal stories, we aim to raise awareness, break stigmas, encourage meaningful dialogue, and give the public - and especially teenagers and young adults - a deeper understanding of what it means to live with post-traumatic stress. We have already brought our questions to the Knesset, challenged elected officials on their responsibilities, and taken part in public activism on behalf of people living with mental health challenges. Now, we are at an advanced stage of producing the series - and we need your help to complete it. We are doing all of this voluntarily. But for the series to reach the screen, we need you. Every donation will help us complete the production, bring these stories to a wider audience, and continue raising awareness of post-traumatic stress in Israel.
