Meet Jerusalem's neighborhoods

As part of the "Meeting in the Neighborhoods" event series, we invite you to experience Jerusalem's neighborhoods at eye level. Join us for events held across 10 community weekends throughout the city-to meet, converse, and connect with the neighborhoods, neighbors, and guests from the perspective of the city's liberal public, both secular and religious alike. Each weekend is hosted in a different neighborhood, often a "regular" and lesser-known one, and consists of two main events: a communal Friday dinner in a welcoming community atmosphere that includes a lecture or cultural content; and a guided walking tour on Saturday morning dedicated to the history and shared life of that neighborhood. It is important to us that everyone can take part and feel at home: the meals served are kosher, and the tours are conducted with full respect for Shabbat (without the use of electronic devices), making the activities fully suitable for Shabbat-observant and traditional participants.
