The holiday season can be especially challenging for reservist families — with multiple holidays and the start of a new school year, and one parent away in reserve duty. At HaOgen, we’re doing everything we can to make this period a little easier for these families: 🌿 Daycare and activities for children during the days between Yom Kippur and Sukkot, when schools and other educational frameworks are closed so their parent at home can still work.  🌿 Community resilience-building events that create a sense of belonging. 🌿 Financial assistance to help families manage the additional expenses that come with the holiday season. 🌿 Help building sukkahs for families with a parent away on reserve duty. 🌿 Home-cooked holiday and Shabbat meals.
