Volunteer Delegation to Ethiopia - helpUp

Humanitarian Volunteer Mission to Ethiopia – December 2026 ✨ This December, a humanitarian volunteer mission will travel to Ethiopia under the HelpUp organization, driven by the belief that even in places facing complex challenges, it is possible to create real and meaningful change. This is the “TANAKARA Eitan” Mission, dedicated to the memory of Lieutenant Eitan Ben Yitzhak, of blessed memory, who fell in combat in Gaza. The mission carries forward his spirit — a spirit of values, responsibility, giving, and compassion — transforming his memory into meaningful action that creates a lasting impact. 🧱 📚 Donations will be used to purchase construction materials for the renovation of a local school, as well as essential educational equipment, with the goal of significantly improving the learning environment and quality of life for children in underserved communities. The mission consists of approximately 50 dedicated volunteers, united by a shared sense of purpose and a desire to positively impact the lives of children and families. Our goal is to strengthen education, health, and community well-being while improving children's living conditions through direct, hands-on work in the field. During the mission, we will focus on several key areas: renovating and strengthening educational infrastructure, providing essential learning materials, conducting educational activities with children and teaching staff, promoting health and proper nutrition, improving access to clean drinking water, supporting women's empowerment, organizing sports and community activities, and developing agricultural initiatives such as vegetable gardens. All of our work will be carried out in close cooperation with the local community and with respect for its needs, priorities, and culture. Your donation is more than immediate assistance. It is an opportunity to turn values into action, continue a legacy of giving, and help create meaningful and sustainable change on the ground. Together, we can strengthen communities, give children greater opportunities for the future, and promote a culture of mutual responsibility and social solidarity. 🙏 Join us and become part of something meaningful — for the children, for the community, and in memory of Eitan.
