Continuing Their Journey, Growing from the Light: A Sefer Torah in Memory of Our Four Fallen Alumni
Four souls. Four heroes. One unfinished journey. Join Yeshivat Orot Yehuda in writing a Sefer Torah to honor their sacrifice, preserve their legacy, and fuel our story of renewal.Honoring Their Sacrifice
The Swords of Iron war has taken an unfathomable toll on the Yeshivat Orot Yehuda family. Four of our cherished alumni—young men who embodied devotion, leadership, and deep faith—fell in battle defending the State of Israel and the Jewish people. They lived by the Torah values distilled in our Beit Midrash, and through their ultimate sacrifice, they gave us the gift of life. The loss is felt every day in our halls, and their absence leaves a profound void in our hearts.
Continuing Their Journey
Our fallen brothers may no longer be with us physically, but the journey they began does not end here. Their passion for service, love for the Land of Israel, and spiritual vitality live on through us. Writing a Sefer Torah in their memory is more than a memorial—it is an active pledge to carry forward their mission. Every single letter inscribed in this scroll represents a step forward in the journey they handed down to us.
Renewal and Regrowth
Standing at a point of reflection after three long years of war, we choose resilience, life, and spiritual growth. Out of deep sorrow and sacrifice, Yeshivat Orot Yehuda is committed to rebuilding and renewing our strength. Placing this Torah scroll at the center of our Beit Midrash symbolizes our collective message: from tragedy, we build unity; from loss, we cultivate new light and life for future generations.
How You Can Partner with UsThis Sefer Torah belongs to all of us. By dedicating a letter, verse, or chapter, you directly invest in our regrowth and ensure that the memory and values of our four fallen heroes remain vibrant and alive inside our Beit Midrash.
