Israeli Lone Soldiers

Assistance for Israeli Lone Soldiers During Their Service
Ends: 11:35
There are currently 6300 Lone Soldiers in the IDF, 44% of whom are Israelis with no family support. These are Israelis who were raised in Israel but are not receiving financial or emotional support at home.
Some are soldiers from Ultra Orthodox backgrounds whose families cut them off, others were raised by foster parents and whose parents have not been a presence in their lives for many years. These highly motivated youths draft into the army knowing that IDF service is the ticket to success in Israeli society.
Often, these Lone Soldiers are unable to serve a compete service or are put in less meaningful jobs due to economic and emotional hardships. At the Michael Levin Lone Soldier Center, we assist these soldiers from the first stages of the draft process until the beginning of university after their service. With your help we can continue to provide this assistance.
