Double the Impact: Fighting for Equal Rights

Excuse me, what’s the story? In honor of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities (3rd December), Bizchut has launched this crowdfunding campaign to raise funds that will enable us to promote significant changes in the lives of tens of thousands of persons with disabilities. Thanks to your donations, we will work to ensure more equal and inclusive lives for every person with a disability in Israel. Please note: From 1 – 5 December, every shekel you donate will be doubled by our matching donors. If you donate 100 NIS, we will receive 200! Do you need any more reasons to make a donation? We have one – after you make a donation, we’ll send you a special link that gives you discounts in dozens of shops. But what will you do with the money? In the next year and thanks to your donation we will: 1. Fight to make every school in Israel accessible to children with special needs 2. Continue providing free personalized assistance to persons with disabilities; give trainings to persons with disabilities, parents, professionals; publish new information leaflets on important issues. 3. Promote enactment of a law that anchors the right of every person with a disability to life in the community, with the supports and assistance they need. We’ll also help people living in institutions to move out into their own homes. Who are you exactly? We are Bizchut, The Israel Human Rights Center for People with Disabilities, a non-profit organization that has been promoting equality and inclusion in Israeli society for persons with disabilities in all areas of life since 1992.
