Saving Yehudit’s life!

Yehudit Levi Yashar, 57, a Migdal resident in northern Israel, lost her young son to cancer only 8 months ago. He left behind 2 little sons, grandchildren to Yehudit. Devastatingly, since the death of her son, Yehudit herself has been dealing with a violent lung cancer that was discovered in her body during the heavy mourning she is facing. After tireless consultations, Yehudit’s oncologists decided that she would receive systemic therapy, chemotherapy, and immunological therapy. At the end of the first round of chemotherapy, Yehudit almost lost consciousness, as her blood pressure continued to decline and her body's diabetes, which she also suffers from, took off to dangerous heights. An ambulance crew was called and managed to stabilize her condition, but Yehudit barely recovered from her weakness. After the second round of chemotherapy, Yehudit came to a real life-threatening condition and forced to stop the systematic treatment and seek other treatments. At this stage, Yehudit and her husband contacted two doctors in Europe who are using alternative treatment to cure lung cancer with a life-saving technology – Ice-cure Cryoablation. After consulting with top doctors and oncologists in the Israel, Yehudit and her family decided to perform the life-saving treatment at Professor Vogel's hospital in Frankfurt, Germany. The treatment is not yet available in Israel for lung cancer treatment. The special treatment involves freezing the tumor up to 170 degrees below zero, after which the tumor dissolves. The treatment costs, together with housing and transport expenses during the four-month treatment, are over 120,000 Shekels (nearly $35,000). Yehudit is a very optimistic person and loved by her entire family. Amidst the great suffering she is experiencing, she feels that the treatment in Germany will cure her, so that she can return to her grandchildren's arms and gain the joy of the united family.
