Leket Stands with Southern Israel

During this time of war in Israel the situation has grown particularly difficult in the South and along the Gaza border. We are asking for immediate support for the residents of Southern Israel. With your help, we can provide food to those who need it. In response, Leket Israel has swiftly launched three emergency relief programs in the South. These initiatives were developed in collaboration with local NPOs and in response to direct requests from recipients, addressing their most pressing needs. For Homebound Individuals and Seniors: Leket will purchase 320,000 cooked meals over the next two months. These meals will be delivered to recipients directly or through local NPOs. For Families: Leket will purchase essential supplies, including food, diapers, formula, and more, from local grocery stores in the South. These supplies will be distributed by local NPOs in the South, supporting both families in need and local business owners. Leket will provide financial assistance through magnetic cards, to help individuals affected by the war. This program aims to assist those whose income has been impacted or who lack access to their consistent sources of aid. Our dedicated staff and volunteers are mobilizing to travel to the South, working closely with the IDF and security forces to ensure the safe and effective implementation of these relief programs.
