Thanks to SHEKEL’s educational afternoon enrichment program, which includes critical medical support, she and her friends are able to enjoy enriching learning experiences every day while focusing on their strengths like all other children. Most importantly, they are able to go home to their loving supportive families at the end of each day as opposed to growing up in hospitals or institutions. This program is critical to the welfare and quality of life of children with severe disabilities and due to the corona crisis it has now become more urgent than ever.
