2018-19 Adopt a student

Keren Shemesh strives to reduce the gaps in education in the city of Beit Shemesh. Within this framework, the organization "adopts" more than 200 students from hard-working families, including new immigrants and single-parent families. For these families, the costs involved in the education of their children can be very difficult and therefore the foundation provides them with assistance in all matters related to their children's payments in school. Thus, the Foundation helps with parental payments, purchases of school books, providing School backpacks and Writing Tools, school lunches and participation in cultural trips and activities troughout the year. We at Keren Shemesh believe that every child deserves an equal opportunity in school and therefore we are working to increase the number of children we can assist and expand the manner of assistance in order to meet the many needs of the city's student population. With the begining of the new Jewish year and the new school year, we turn to you to help us and to "adopt a studant" by sponsoring this school year for one of these children. Ultimately, all they need is one person to believe in them and give them a chance by giving them the support they need.
