Give People with Disabilities the Chance to Work

Thanks to SHEKEL’s vocational rehabilitation program, Yogev’s dream of working and earning a salary at a normal dynamic workplace, has finally come true. "Here, I feel like an ordinary person, not like someone with special needs,” explains Yogev, as he confidently hands a menu to a customer and sets a table at a busy branch of Café Roladin. According to the café manager: “He contributes a lot to the business, especially when we’re under pressure. He really enjoys the work and it's also very moving to watch him gain self-confidence and begin to take initiative. Like many young people, Yogev is training and working at a job he loves.
