From Challenge to Hope at the Mikveh

For thousands of years, the mikveh has been an institution of crucial importance for Jewish women and is considered a central to the continuity of the Jewish family. The mikveh provided women with a sense of connection and time for inner contemplation and spiritual intimacy. The Eden Center works to reestablish the Mikveh as a source of empowerment for women around the world. By running courses for mikveh attendants, individual guidance, conferences and publishing materials we are creating meaningful change and making the mikveh attendant a recognized professional with a wealth of relevant knowledge. In the coming year The Eden Center will focus enabling women going through breast cancer, and other illnesses, to have an uplifting and healing experience at the mikveh.
